These terms govern the use of the website smallbizbuilt.com. By using it, you accept what they say. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

1. Who I am

This site is operated by Frank Joseph Rhoades, trading as "Drifter's Web Design" ("I"), with address at 300 MTS Sur de la Escuela Lourdes de Naranjo, Mano izquierda, portón rojo casa verde, Apto #2. 2. What the site is for

The site presents my web design, Google profile and local SEO services for businesses. Its content is informational and is not legal, financial or tax advice. The site is aimed at businesses and people over 18.

3. Prices, quotes and services

• Published prices are in US dollars and are for reference.
• The scope, price and timeline of each project are confirmed in a written quote (WhatsApp or email). Work begins when you accept that quote.
• The payment terms published in the FAQ (half to start, half at launch) apply unless the quote says otherwise.
• Timelines, such as "about 7 days", are estimates and depend on you delivering the necessary material on time (logo, photos, texts, details).
• Nothing goes live without your approval.

4. Colón equivalents

The colón amounts shown in the pricing section are approximate. They are calculated with BAC's selling exchange rate, as published by the Central Bank of Costa Rica, on the date shown in that section. They are not an offer in colones or a fixed price, and they change with the exchange rate.

5. No guarantee of results

I do not guarantee rankings on Google or an increase in visits, calls or sales. Google states that there is no way to pay for a better local ranking, and results depend on many factors I don't control, such as your competition, your reviews and Google's own decisions.

6. Statistics and sources

The figures I show come from third-party studies, cited at the bottom of the page, and some refer to other countries (I say so when that's the case). They are informational, may change or become outdated, and are not a promise about your business.

7. Intellectual property

• The design, texts, logo, images and code of this site belong to me or are used under license, and are protected by Costa Rican intellectual property law.
• You may view the site and share its links. You may not copy, modify or commercially exploit it without my written permission.
• Google, WhatsApp, Meta, Cloudflare and other brands mentioned belong to their owners. I am not affiliated with them.
• "Pura Vida Garage" and its example website on the home page are a fictional business, created only to illustrate.
• Ownership of work I do for a client is defined in that project's quote or agreement.

8. Acceptable use

When using the site and the contact channels, you agree not to:

• use them for illegal purposes or to send illegal or offensive content, spam or malware;
• attempt unauthorized access, interfere with the site or overload it;
• send sensitive data or other people's data without their authorization.

9. Third-party links and services

The site links to services such as WhatsApp and to other organizations' pages. I don't control them or answer for their content or policies; they are governed by their own terms.

10. Availability of the site

I do my best to keep the site available and accurate, but it is provided "as is". It may be interrupted, change or contain errors.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for indirect damages or losses arising from use of the site or its information. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any rights the law grants you that cannot be waived, or any liability that cannot legally be limited.

12. Privacy

How your personal data is processed is explained in the Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to these terms

I may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of Costa Rica. Any dispute will be resolved before the competent courts of Costa Rica, without prejudice to any rights the law grants you as a consumer.
